Tano South NPP Boosted As Collins Osei Donates Cement, Cash For New Party Office

In a strong show of loyalty and dedication to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), philanthropist and Executive Director of the Save Our Environment Foundation, Collins Osei, has once again stepped forward to support the party’s development efforts in Tano South.

On Friday, June 27, 2025, Osei made a significant donation of 50 bags of cement along with a cash sum of GH¢1,000 to aid in the construction of a permanent and dignified party office in Bechem.

The contribution comes at a time when the Tano South Constituency is actively working to establish a functional and symbolic space to serve as its political and administrative hub.

Osei’s cash donation was specifically designated to cover transportation costs for the cement, ensuring its timely delivery to the construction site for immediate use in block moulding and other foundational works.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the party, Constituency Secretary Alhaji Sulemana Rasheed expressed profound gratitude, describing Osei’s gesture as timely and deeply impactful.

He emphasized the importance of such acts of generosity, especially during periods when the party is out of power and relies heavily on the unity and voluntary efforts of its members and supporters.

Alhaji Sulemana also used the occasion to rally other well-meaning party members, sympathizers, and friends of the NPP to contribute in their own capacity—not only to the party office project but also to other pressing needs, including funerals, outreach activities, and community engagements that keep the party’s grassroots vibrant and connected.
Osei’s latest contribution is not his first show of support.

He previously played a key financial role during the 2024 Voter Transfer Exercise organized by the Electoral Commission, where he assisted the party in facilitating voter mobilization efforts—a gesture still remembered with appreciation by many in the constituency.

Party officials and members say they are encouraged by Osei’s consistency and sense of duty, which they believe reflects a broader spirit of patriotism and selflessness that is vital for the NPP’s growth, especially in opposition.

The Tano South NPP leadership has reiterated its commitment to transparency and inclusiveness as it continues the office construction project, and has assured donors that every contribution, no matter how modest, will be put to good use for the benefit of the party and the larger community.
