A security guard at Mim Senior High School in the Ahafo Region has come under scrutiny following allegations that he attempted to pressure a female student into entering a sexual relationship with him after she allegedly left the school campus without permission.
The guard, identified as Obonto, is alleged to have confronted the student after discovering that she had gone outside the school premises without authorisation.
According to the account, the situation allegedly escalated when the security guard threatened to report the student to school authorities unless she complied with his demands.
He is alleged to have told the student that she had to “either have an affair with him or he would report her to the school authorities for punishment.”
The student reportedly alerted some of her male colleagues by text message about the alleged encounter. She subsequently accompanied the security guard to his quarters, where the students reportedly followed and confronted him in the presence of the female student.
The circumstances surrounding what happened at the guard’s quarters remain unclear, and there has been no independent verification of the allegations contained in the report.
