The Eminsang Group, in collaboration with its International Development Consortium (IDC), has secured 500 acres of titled land at Osuduko in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana to develop 20,000 affordable housing units.

The project, dubbed “New Development Community Homes” (NDCH), aims to provide affordable housing solutions to government and corporate workers, security service staff, private sector employees, union members, MDAs, and individuals, including Ghanaians in diaspora and African Americans.

Affordable Payment Plans And Mortgage Options

The housing units will be made available with flexible payment plans ranging from 1 to 25 years.

The NDCH project has partnered with key commercial banks in Ghana and other financial management services in the USA to provide low-interest mortgage services and short-term revolving loans for prospective buyers.

The project will offer studios, one, two, and three-bedroom condos, as well as customized four-bedroom suites.

Partnerships And Construction Timeline

The Eminsang Group has partnered with renowned construction companies, including China Railway 20th Bureau Corporation, Xinjiang Beixin International Engineering Construction Co., TGS, and CITIC.

The first phase of the construction deliveries per Community Homes of 2,000-unit condos is expected to be completed within 12-24 months.

Ocean Bay City Project

The Eminsang Development Consortium is also in consultation to conclude on other land acquisitions to develop the proposed construction of the “Ocean Bay City” (OBC) and farmhouses within the Osudoku jurisdiction.

The proposed 150-acre OBC project will feature a 15.7-acre turquoise lagoon surrounded by a 4.3-acre white sandy beach, high-class recreational hospitality, a golf course, hotels, resorts, a convention center, games, and kids’ playing facilities.

Collaboration With Government And Traditional Authorities

The Eminsang Group is in consultation with the Works and Housing Minister, Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, to provide additional land and infrastructure support to make the housing deliveries of NDCH more affordable to Ghanaians.

The Paramount Chief of Osudoku Traditional Area, Nene Kweku-Otiti Animle VII, expressed his support for the project and assured the delegation of their commitment to providing land for the OBC and Farm Vision project.

Economic Benefits

The project is expected to attract international and local visitors, create more jobs, revitalize urban development, and boost tourism, being the first of its kind in Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Eminsang Group’s initiative aligns with the Government of Ghana’s affordable housing initiative, and the project is expected to contribute significantly to the country’s economic development.
