FIFA has unveiled an impressive entertainment lineup and hosting team for the highly anticipated Final Draw of the FIFA World Cup 2026, signaling the beginning of a historic chapter in world football.
Scheduled for Friday, 5 December 2025, the ceremony will take place at the iconic John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., where millions of global viewers are expected to tune in.
The event marks a major milestone on the road to the first-ever 48-team FIFA World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico—a format expansion from the traditional 32 to 48 teams, approved in 2017.
This new structure promises more matches, broader global representation, and heightened excitement as countries prepare for the most inclusive tournament in World Cup history.
To match the significance of the occasion, FIFA has assembled a world-class cast of presenters.
The ceremony will be co-hosted by renowned German-American supermodel Heidi Klum, celebrated American comedian Kevin Hart, and Hollywood actor-producer Danny Ramirez.
For Klum, the announcement marks a return to familiar territory after previously hosting the 2006 World Cup draw in Germany.
Reflecting on the upcoming show, she described the global appeal of football as unmatched, adding that being part of such a monumental edition of the tournament is “an incredible honour.”
Ramirez, who has personal ties to both the U.S. and Mexico, said the opportunity carries special meaning, particularly with the tournament being staged across countries that shaped his heritage.
He recalled playing football during his childhood and expressed pride in presenting an event that blends sport, culture, and global unity.
The entertainment for the night will showcase a diverse blend of musical talent. Legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will headline the performances, bringing his classical brilliance to the global stage.
British pop icon Robbie Williams and American singer Nicole Scherzinger will also deliver live musical acts. Capping off the night, the iconic disco group Village People will perform their timeless anthem Y.M.C.A., ensuring an energetic close to the ceremony.
While FIFA has not yet announced the personalities who will conduct the actual draw and assist with the pot selections, the organisation confirmed that those details will be released in the coming days.
The draw itself will determine the paths of the 48 qualified nations, shaping the matchups and storylines that will define the 2026 tournament.
Fans around the world will be able to watch the broadcast live via FIFA.com, the official FIFA World Cup social media platforms, and through authorised global media partners.
