Test For The Peace Pact

There is no gainsaying the fact that one of the five contenders in the forthcoming internal election of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is giving his minders hell.

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is untamable no matter how his minders try working on his ill-tempered nature.

His recent self-inflicted shooting when he rained unprovoked insults on former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia polls deducted points from his already low marks.

An apology was allegedly issued but this the loudmouth has denied many days after it was released.

It appears that there was pressure by his minders on the contender to retract the words and apologise. Whether he eventually agreed or not it is difficult to tell because the person at the centre of the storm is unpredictable and one whose words must be taken with a pinch of salt.

And now a test for the recently signed peace pact which seeks to ensure peace at the end of the forthcoming electoral process scheduled for 31st January 2026.

Ken as he is often referred to would push down the chinaware in the China Shop as he is officially declared a loser on 31st January 2026 regardless of his appending a signature to the peace document or not.

He signed the document reluctantly anyway after finding non-existing fault with it. Only an intelligent man like him could find such a non-existing shortcoming with a document circulated to all contenders even before the date for the signing.

The NPP leadership must prepare for a Ken in the China shop scenario from 1st February 2026. He would spew concocted stories about others but himself and rain insults on all members of the leadership including those who do not vote for him.

From ‘Showdown to Apologise My Foot’ presents us with an eccentric personality who should be told in the face that he is not better than other members of the party and by extension other Ghanaians.

Ken has insulted everybody but himself in this country….from President John Mahama to persons in the NPP who he said are poor and so should not talk when the rich are talking.

There are no two ways about the fact that this man lacks the emotional intelligence to lead a grouping let alone a country.

The fact that Bawumia did not say what Ken attributed to him yet he thinks his lies do not merit an apology is another testament to the man’s uncouthness. As for the PhD holders they have their share of the man’s badmouthing.

‘An apology my foot’ offers delegates with another test for Ken’s quality for the position he is seeking on 31st January 2026.
