Self-styled “Kubala King,” privately known as Kofi Offeh, has once again become the centre of online conversations after new videos showing his current condition in a forest area in Sunyani surfaced on social media, reigniting public fascination with his controversial lifestyle and self-created kingdom movement.
The latest videos, which have gone viral across TikTok and other social media platforms, show the self-acclaimed king standing bare-chested in a thick forest environment, with mud smeared across parts of his body while holding a long stick and wearing beads associated with his Kubala identity.
In some of the clips, Kubala King appeared deeply immersed in what many observers described as a ritualistic jungle lifestyle, surrounded by dense greenery and palm trees in what is believed to be his new base in Sunyani.
One of the trending videos was captioned “APOCALYPTO Beast of the Jungle,” while another described him as the “Beast of all Nations.”
Additional text accompanying the footage read: “The Lion of Yuda has arisen. Spirit of the red dragon of Wales is awakened in me for battle.”
The dramatic footage has triggered mixed reactions online, with some social media users treating the clips as performance art and self-expression, while others expressed concern about the direction his life has taken following his deportation from Scotland.
Kubala King first gained widespread attention in the United Kingdom after he and a group of loyal followers reportedly settled in a wooded area in Scotland while attempting to establish what they described as the “Kingdom of Kubala.”
The unusual movement attracted significant public curiosity and controversy, particularly because of the group’s unconventional lifestyle, spiritual messaging and public declarations about creating an independent kingdom.
However, the dream reportedly collapsed after legal and immigration issues emerged, eventually leading to Kubala King’s deportation from Scotland back to Ghana.
Since his return to Ghana, the self-styled king has frequently shared videos from forest locations around Sunyani, presenting what appears to be a continuation of the Kubala Kingdom ideology in a new setting.
Earlier videos showed him dressed in white cloth among trees while speaking about redemption, governance and what he described as his mission for Africa.
Other clips circulating online also captured him cooking in the bush and allegedly performing rituals near a pond, further intensifying discussions about his lifestyle and mental state.
