Ghana Joloff In High Demand

The insult industry is thriving in the country. Indeed it has been lucrative for those who joined earlier.

While some were offered lucrative appointments for their ability to do it in style others are on permanent retainership remaining dedicated emoluments from Jubilee House.

Kevin Taylor attested to this fact earlier when he claimed he was engaged by President John Mahama to insult his opponents.

Enter Ghana Joloff and those who started it in the first place are shivering seemingly calling for a truce as it were.

Tiktok is abuzz with Ghana Joloff calling the bluff of Kevin Taylor the former now having a rising number of followers. The country is approaching the precipice.

Obscene language has never been formalized by a government. We have heard some moralists seeking to clear the stable of the nonsense but it is too late.

The deed has been done and the level of insults being hurled at the President and his wife on social media is so bad that we are tempted to wonder what has befallen this country. But who originated it?

All have to stand up against this contagion of insults that has enveloped this beautiful country of ours.

A visit to social media is enough to say it all about how bad things have become.

Recently a retired Supreme Court justice was reported to have showered plaudits on Kevin Taylor for his prowess at insulting political opponents of the ruling NDC.

It is appalling that such a person of high standing in society will praise someone who has specialized in insulting other citizens of this country.

Where are the Men of God who claim to be moralists when hell is breaking loose in this country as children still in the earlier stages of their education listen and watch the immorality on social media by adult delinquents?

Martin Kpebu is reported to have asked for an intervention of sorts to address the heightened spate of insults in the country.

When it all started at a time NDC activists were obsessed with wresting political power by all means including human sacrifices the so-called persons claiming to representing the conscience of the nation were indifferent.

Today the insults have gained better traction on the landscape of the nation and we are all moaning.

Our kids are learning the dirty trade and tomorrow when they start practicing it on their parents at home the origin of the bad conduct would be crestfallen, tails tucked behind their hind legs like stray mongrels.

Those who gained from the insults are the President and his henchmen. He engaged Kevin Taylor and charged his young youth with sharp teeth to go into the country and insults. They were even asked to spread lies as that was a better way to make the then ruling party and government unpopular.

The Ghana Joloff might not be palatable for the President and his government he or she is drawing inspiration from the benefits the NDC garnered from the dirty industry of insults and lie spreading. God is watching all of us and those who introduced the art of obscene insults into politics will suffer the consequences if they have not started already. What they are enduring now is only the beginning.
