A 23-year-old woman, Theresa Darkoah, has reportedly died after allegedly being poisoned by a man who had been pursuing her romantically over a small financial dispute.

The suspect, identified as Kofi Emma, also known as Blackee, is currently at large as police launch a nationwide manhunt.

According to sources close to the deceased, the incident began over a seemingly minor disagreement involving GHC100.

Theresa allegedly requested the money from Emma to repair a standing fan, with the understanding that she would then engage in a sexual encounter with him.

After receiving the funds, however, she reportedly did not fulfil this agreement, angering Emma.

Eyewitnesses and informants suggest that Emma threatened Theresa, demanding the money be returned, warning her of dire consequences should she refuse.

When the repayment did not materialize, Emma allegedly resorted to a deadly course of action. He is said to have poisoned a medication and sent it to Theresa through a messenger.

Shortly after ingesting the substance, Theresa’s health reportedly deteriorated rapidly.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite medical intervention, she was pronounced dead. Medical officials are reported to have confirmed that she ingested a toxic substance, sparking outrage and concern among local residents.

The suspect, Kofi Emma, is currently evading law enforcement, prompting police to initiate a manhunt to bring him to justice.

Authorities have appealed to the public to provide any information that could lead to his arrest.
