As political activities within the opposition New Patriotic Party begin to intensify ahead of internal constituency elections, party members in Suhum are witnessing growing interest in key executive positions aimed at reorganising and strengthening the party’s grassroots structures.

The latest to formally announce his ambition is Moses Kwadwo Omari, who has declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Communication Officer for the NPP in the Constituency.

In a declaration addressed to party members, Omari said his decision is driven by a desire to serve the party and contribute to strengthening communication and unity within the constituency.

According to him, effective communication remains one of the most critical tools for mobilising supporters, promoting the party’s achievements, and preparing the NPP for future electoral victories.

Over the years, political communication within constituency structures has become increasingly important, particularly with the rise of social media and digital political engagement. Communication officers are often tasked with shaping party narratives, coordinating media engagement, countering misinformation, and sustaining grassroots mobilisation.

Against this backdrop, Moses Omari says his vision is to build a stronger communication system that effectively projects the ideals and activities of the NPP across the Suhum Constituency.

Outlining his priorities, the aspiring communication officer pledged to improve internal communication among party members, promote the image and activities of the party, and deepen grassroots engagement throughout the constituency. He also stressed the importance of strategically using both traditional and social media platforms to advance the party’s message.

He further indicated his readiness to work closely with all stakeholders within the party to promote unity, cooperation, and progress.

In his appeal to delegates and party faithful, Moses Omari called for prayers, guidance, and support as he seeks the mandate to serve in the communication role.

The declaration adds to growing political activity within the NPP as party members prepare for upcoming internal processes aimed at repositioning the party at the constituency level.
