A Nigerian self-proclaimed prophet, Abel T. Boma, has triggered fresh controversy on social media after releasing a video containing alarming claims about the health of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, alleging that she is battling several serious illnesses linked to what he describes as a spiritual attack.
The prophet reportedly published the video on Instagram on October 19, 2026, claiming that the actress was experiencing cardiovascular complications, brain fog and the development of cancer cells.
However, he provided no publicly verified medical evidence to support the allegations, and the claims should not be treated as an established diagnosis of the actress’s health.
The video has attracted attention because of the seriousness of the conditions mentioned and the prophet’s suggestion that the actress’s health problems were connected to supernatural forces rather than conventional medical explanations.
In the circulating video, Prophet Abel T. Boma alleges that Regina Daniels is suffering from cardiovascular disease, claiming that blocked arteries are affecting blood circulation to her brain.
He further claims that the actress is experiencing brain fog and suggests that spiritual forces are influencing her thoughts and emotional state. His remarks include references to what he describes as destructive thinking, although the video does not provide independently verified evidence to substantiate those assertions.
The prophet’s most alarming allegation concerns the actress’s breast tissue, which he claims is developing cancer cells. He reportedly put forward a figure of approximately 40 per cent in describing the alleged development, but no medical report or diagnostic evidence was presented to establish what the figure represents or whether the actress has cancer.
These claims have generated concern because cardiovascular disease and cancer are serious medical conditions that require proper clinical assessment.
Beyond the health allegations, Prophet Boma attributes what he describes as the actress’s condition to a spiritual attack involving what he calls a “water kingdom.”
He reportedly links the alleged attack to disobedience and harmful influences surrounding the actress, presenting his interpretation as the explanation for the health problems he claims she is experiencing.
The prophet also revisits an earlier allegation involving poison, insisting that Regina Daniels had ingested a poisonous substance. He reportedly questions the effectiveness of conventional medical treatment, suggesting that surgery or travelling abroad for treatment could prove ineffective or dangerous.
In a particularly controversial part of the video, Prophet Boma shifts from warning about the alleged health problems to offering assistance to the actress.
He reportedly assures viewers that there is still hope for Regina Daniels but makes it clear that his proposed intervention would come at a cost, declaring that “hope is not free.”
The prophet outlines a three-stage process that would begin with a telephone conversation, followed by an in-person meeting involving Regina Daniels and her mother. A final session, according to his account, would involve the actress’s husband.
He also reportedly warns that failing to respond to his message could worsen the situation, claiming that the actress might eventually struggle to breathe if she delayed seeking his assistance.
According to the report, Regina Daniels has not publicly responded to the latest prophecy.The actress, who has maintained a prominent presence in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, has previously attracted widespread public attention over her personal life and activities on social media. The latest claims have once again placed her name at the centre of online discussion, this time over allegations concerning her health.
However, the absence of a public response should not be interpreted as confirmation of the prophet’s statements. Individuals are not obligated to disclose private medical information simply because another person has made public claims about them.
