Sulley Muntari Not Arrested In Dubai

Reports of former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari’s arrest in Dubai have been dismissed as false by his manager and representative, Sammy Anim Addo.

In a statement shared on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, Anim Addo confirmed that Muntari is safe and currently residing in Dubai, where he is focused on his personal affairs and business activities.

Anim Addo urged the public to disregard the false reports making the rounds in sections of the media, stressing that the outlets responsible for spreading the misinformation must retract their statements and issue an apology.

He cautioned that failure to do so would result in legal action by Muntari’s lawyers.

The statement, signed by Anim Addo on behalf of the player, has drawn attention online, with many fans expressing relief over the clarification.
