The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced the match officials for the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League season.
The list features 28 referees and 28 assistant referees, showcasing a mix of experienced officials and emerging talent.

Inclusivity And Diversity
The roster includes six male FIFA referees and five FIFA assistant referees, who have earned recognition at the international level.
Notably, the list also features four FIFA female referees and four FIFA female assistant referees, highlighting the GFA’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within officiating.
Development Initiative
In addition to the experienced officials, the GFA has also included five “Catch Them Young” referees in the list.
This development initiative aims to groom the next generation of elite officials and provide them with opportunities to gain valuable experience in the top-flight league.
Season Schedule
The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to begin on September 12, 2025, and conclude on May 23-24, 2026.
The calendar has been carefully aligned with the 23rd FIFA World Cup, ensuring that all domestic competitions conclude ahead of the global tournament.

The officials are expected to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth conduct of matches and upholding the integrity of the game.
