Ghanaian artist Lasmid has opened up about his unconventional music tastes, revealing that he mostly listens to Muslim and Indian songs during his leisure time.
In an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Lasmid explained that these genres resonate with him due to their unique sound structures and emotional depth.
Lasmid appreciates the unconventional style and unpredictable progressions in Muslim and Indian songs, which he finds refreshing and mysterious.
He stated, “I like it, you won’t get. That feeling? Somebody go fit do some style bi. They have a unique progression”.
The “Friday Night” hitmaker has incorporated similar melodic patterns into his own music, including a verse on Kojo Blak’s latest song, “Balance”.
