In a heartwarming display of generosity, Nana Akosua Agyapomaa Asare I, Development Queenmother of the Oseawuo Division of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area, has donated books and educational materials to the Kpando Gadza M/A Basic School.

The donation, made possible through a partnership with Book Aid International, aims to enrich the minds and broaden the knowledge of young learners at the school.

As President of the Heritage Hands Foundation and CEO of the Rainbow Trust Foundation, Nana Akosua has been instrumental in promoting literacy and academic advancement across 10 regions in Ghana.

Her foundation has consistently demonstrated a commitment to providing educational resources to underserved communities, and this latest donation is a testament to that mission.

The donation ceremony, held at the Kpando Gadza M/A Basic School, brought together traditional and community leaders, including Mama Kodzogasi II, Queen Mother of Kpando Gadza, Mamaga Nyakua Tsimafonya I of Sovie, and Mama Fafa Adobea IV of Akato Wudoaboa in the Aflao Traditional Area.

Nana Akosua expressed her gratitude to Mama Kodzogasi II for her initiative in securing the donation for her community.

The books and educational materials donated will support the newly established school library, providing students with access to valuable resources that will enhance their learning experience.

Nana Akosua assured the community that follow-up visits would be made to ensure the materials are being used effectively for their intended purpose.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to promote education and literacy in Ghana.

Similar initiatives have been undertaken by other organizations, such as the Charitable Fellows Foundation, which donated teaching and learning materials to the Adzato RC Basic School in the Volta Region, and PLEDGE Ghana, which supported 1,300 children with education materials in the Upper West Region.
