Akosua Arhin, a 20-year-old University of Ghana student, has been crowned Miss Malaika Ghana 2025, triumphing over nine talented finalists at the National Theatre.
The event, themed “Defining the Future,” showcased Ghanaian culture, intellectual discourse, and high-fashion runway displays.
A Night of Excellence
The competition featured three segments: Cultural Display and Introduction, Rhetoric and Intellectual Round, and Final Q&A. Akosua impressed judges with her poise, eloquence, and clarity of vision on addressing youth unemployment in Ghana.
Empowering Youth
Akosua’s winning project, the “4E Initiative: Empowering Youth Through Enterprise and Education,” aims to establish skills training hubs for vocational and digital expertise, targeting 500 young women in Greater Accra and Ashanti regions.
Prize Package
Akosua received a 2025 model saloon car, a cash prize package of over GHS20,000, and a full educational scholarship for a postgraduate programme.
