Ghanaian actress and socialite Rosemond Alade Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has reignited speculation about her relationship with musician and socialite AMG Armani after revealing that she would gladly accept a marriage proposal from him despite repeatedly denying rumours that they were ever romantically involved.
The outspoken actress made the revelation during an interview in which she addressed years of public speculation linking her romantically with the AMG Business artiste.
Although she maintained that they never dated, Akuapem Poloo insisted that her denial of the rumours should not be interpreted to mean that she considers AMG Armani unsuitable as a life partner.
According to her, if the musician were to propose marriage under the right circumstances, she would not hesitate to accept.
“If Armani proposes to marry me, I will agree to marry him. It’s not like I want to snatch him from someone, but I would want to marry him,” she said.
Her comments have once again fueled debate on social media, where fans have for years speculated about the nature of the relationship between the two celebrities.
Akuapem Poloo also spoke about actress and social media personality Martina Dwamena, popularly known as Asantewaa, who has also been linked to AMG Armani in the past.
She suggested that Asantewaa may have sought clarification from the musician regarding the persistent rumours surrounding their alleged relationship.
According to Poloo, she would have done the same if she found herself in Asantewaa’s position.
“I know when Asantewaa got close to AMG Armani, she would ask him whether we’d dated before. If I were the one, because of the rumours that were going round, I would have asked, and it’s up to the man to explain to her that we were not dating,” she stated.
The actress further stressed that rejecting the dating rumours was simply her way of stating the truth and not because AMG Armani was unworthy of being in a relationship with her.
She noted that she would have no objection to dating or marrying him if she were single.
“It shouldn’t be like I’m denying the dating rumours because he’s not capable of dating me. I will agree to be with him if I don’t have any man in my life,” she added.
Rumours of a romantic relationship between Akuapem Poloo and AMG Armani have circulated on social media for several years, with both personalities repeatedly attracting public attention whenever they are seen together or interact online.
Despite the persistent speculation, neither of them has publicly confirmed ever being in a romantic relationship.
