Minority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has been ranked the best-performing Member of Parliament in the latest Global InfoAnalytics MP Performance Survey, emerging first among 83 constituencies assessed across the country.
The June 2026 survey placed the seasoned legislator at the top of the national rankings after recording an impressive 98% approval rating in the “Excellent/Very Good/Good” category, underscoring what the research firm described as overwhelming public confidence in his parliamentary and constituency performance.
According to the findings released by Global InfoAnalytics, only 2% of respondents in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency rated the MP’s performance as “Poor/Very Poor,” making him the highest-rated legislator among all constituencies surveyed.
Annoh-Dompreh’s performance placed him ahead of the Member of Parliament for Tolon, who secured a 94% approval rating, and the MP for Tain, who also recorded 94%. The MP for Navrongo Central ranked fourth with 93%, while Offinso North completed the top five with a 91% approval rating.
The survey further identified the MPs for Kpando and Tano North among the country’s highest-performing legislators, with each obtaining 88% positive ratings. They were followed by Twifo Atti Morkwa with 86%, Old Tafo with 85%, while Alexander Akwasi Acquah, Member of Parliament for Akim Oda, rounded off the top ten with an 83% approval rating.
The latest ranking represents a significant endorsement of Hon. Annoh-Dompreh, who currently serves as the Minority Chief Whip in Parliament.
Over the years, he has established himself as one of the most active legislators, playing key roles in parliamentary debates, legislative business, committee work and national policy discussions while maintaining a visible presence within the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency through development initiatives and regular engagement with constituents.
Beyond his responsibilities in Ghana’s Parliament, Hon. Annoh-Dompreh also serves as a leading member of the delegation to the Pan-African Parliament, where he currently chairs the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Affairs, representing Ghana in continental legislative affairs.
At the opposite end of the rankings, the survey identified George Kwame Aboagye, Member of Parliament for Asene/Manso/Akroso, as the lowest-rated legislator among the constituencies surveyed. He recorded only 9% positive ratings, while 87% of respondents assessed his performance as “Poor/Very Poor.”
Other constituencies that recorded relatively low approval ratings included Takoradi, which scored 13%, Bosomtwe with 15%, Achiase with 16%, and Bole-Bamboi, which recorded 21% positive ratings.
The research also highlighted varying levels of public engagement across constituencies. In some areas, a considerable number of respondents indicated they had no opinion on the performance of their Members of Parliament. Bosomtwe recorded the highest proportion of respondents with no opinion at 18%, followed by Asuogyaman with 15%.
Global InfoAnalytics explained that the MP Performance Survey forms part of its ongoing research programme aimed at measuring public perceptions of parliamentary performance and providing an independent assessment of how constituents evaluate the work of their elected representatives across Ghana.
