Aristocrats Fraternity-Ghana has donated assorted drinks and bottled water to the Maternity Ward of St. Joseph Hospital in Koforidua as part of its social responsibility and community service initiatives.
The donation, led by the Chairman of Aristocrats Fraternity-Ghana, Mr. Nathan Marfo Gyasi, together with members of the fraternity, forms part of activities marking the organisation’s fifth anniversary.
The gesture also coincides with the 10th anniversary of the hospital’s Maternity Ward, which has provided maternal and newborn care to mothers, babies and families for the past decade.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Nathan Marfo Gyasi said the fraternity’s anniversary was not only an occasion to celebrate its achievements but also an opportunity to give back to society and support institutions that provide essential services to communities.
He said the decision to support the Maternity Ward reflected the fraternity’s commitment to community service and its desire to contribute meaningfully to institutions serving the public.
The donated items, comprising assorted drinks and bottled water, were presented to the Maternity Ward for use in support of its activities and the people who depend on the facility.
The leadership and staff of the Maternity Ward expressed their appreciation to Aristocrats Fraternity-Ghana for the gesture.
They commended the fraternity for choosing the hospital as part of its anniversary activities and described the donation as a thoughtful contribution towards supporting the facility.
The hospital’s representatives also used the occasion to encourage other organisations, corporate bodies and institutions to extend similar support to healthcare facilities and contribute to the development of their communities.
The collaboration between Aristocrats Fraternity-Ghana and St. Joseph Hospital comes at a significant point for both institutions, with the fraternity celebrating five years of existence and the Maternity Ward marking a decade of service to mothers, newborns and families.
The initiative further highlights the role of community organisations in supporting healthcare institutions and complementing efforts aimed at improving services to the public.
