The U20 women’s national team, the Black Princesses, began their WAFU B U20 Girls’ Cup title defense on a high note, defeating hosts Benin 2-0 in the tournament’s opening match over the weekend.
The match saw Ghana dominate possession and create scoring opportunities, with Linda Owusu Ansah scoring the opening goal in the 23rd minute after a precise pass from Agnes Yeboah.
The Black Princesses maintained their momentum throughout the game, with Latifa Musa dictating play in midfield and earning the Player of the Match award for her impressive performance.
