Former Public Relations Officer of the Ghana COCOBOD, Fiifi Boafo has formally taken the first step towards contesting the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidacy for the Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency after successfully completing his online registration and submitting his Declaration of Intent.
The aspiring parliamentary candidate announced the development in a statement, informing NPP members and residents of Tarkwa Nsuaem that he had officially begun the process of seeking the party’s mandate to represent the constituency in Parliament.
His declaration signals his intention to enter the NPP’s parliamentary selection process, with his campaign expected to focus on leadership renewal, party unity and constituency development.
Explaining the motivation behind his decision, the broadcast Journalist, Mr Boafo said his ambition was driven by a commitment to the people of Tarkwa Nsuaem and his belief that the constituency deserved purposeful, accessible and visionary leadership.
He indicated that his political agenda would be anchored in unity, selfless service and an inclusive approach to leadership, stressing the need to build a stronger NPP in the constituency while ensuring that party members feel recognised and involved in its activities.
Mr Boafo also expressed appreciation to individuals and party faithful who have supported and encouraged his political ambition, acknowledging their contributions to the development of his vision for Tarkwa Nsuaem.
He called on party members, supporters and other stakeholders to join his campaign, emphasising that collective effort and unity would be necessary to strengthen the party and advance the interests of the constituency.
His declaration comes as prospective parliamentary aspirants begin positioning themselves ahead of the NPP’s internal electoral processes, which will determine who represents the party in the next parliamentary contest.
Promoting his ambition under the campaign identity #FiifiBoafo28, he is also using the messages #AccessibleLeadership and #NewFaceFreshEnergy to communicate his proposed leadership approach.
He concluded by inviting all party members and stakeholders to work together towards what he described as a united NPP and a brighter future for Tarkwa Nsuaem.
