Ghanaian gospel musician Florence Obinim has triggered fresh reactions to her troubled marriage with Bishop Daniel Obinim after visiting the church of controversial preacher Prophet Ogyaba and performing during a church service.
Florence shared a video of the visit on TikTok on September 27, 2026, showing herself participating in the service before sharing a warm embrace with Ogyaba.
The public appearance has attracted particular attention because it came only weeks after Bishop Obinim reportedly identified Florence’s relationship with Ogyaba as one of the issues standing in the way of reconciliation between the estranged couple.
In the video, Florence is seen at Ogyaba’s church, where she performed during the service.
The appearance was followed by a warm moment between the gospel musician and the preacher, with the two embracing at the end of the footage.
Florence did not accompany the video with a detailed explanation of why she had visited the church or whether her appearance was connected to the ongoing disagreement with her husband.
Nevertheless, the timing of the visit has made it a major talking point among social-media users familiar with the couple’s highly publicised marital dispute.
Bishop Obinim had publicly addressed his troubled relationship with Florence during a church service on September 8, 2026, where he listed several conditions he wanted fulfilled before reconciliation could be considered.
One of those conditions was for Florence to distance herself from Prophet Ogyaba, whose relationship with the Obinim family has been a source of public controversy.
Obinim also reportedly wanted Florence to issue a public apology on social media.
The demands came amid reports that the families involved had returned traditional drinks, an act that was interpreted publicly as a possible indication that the couple’s 22-year marriage had broken down.
The latest development cannot be separated from the longstanding public tension between Bishop Obinim and Prophet Ogyaba.
The two Ghanaian religious figures have previously been involved in public disagreements, with their respective positions becoming a subject of discussion among their followers and the wider public.
Florence’s decision to appear at Ogyaba’s church therefore carries additional significance because of the existing dispute between the two men.
