Fresh concerns have emerged over the whereabouts and well-being of Ghanaian socialite and former HIV/AIDS ambassador Joyce Dzidzor Mensah after reports surfaced suggesting that she has remained out of public view for approximately four months while living in Germany.
The concerns, which have generated widespread discussion on social media, were raised during a TikTok live session hosted by some Ghanaian content creators based in Germany.
During the discussion, participants claimed that family members of Joyce Dzidzor Mensah had become increasingly worried after allegedly losing contact with her for several months.
According to a Ghanaian TikToker identified as Adepah, Joyce’s mother recently reached out to her in distress, expressing fears about her daughter’s welfare. Adepah alleged that Joyce’s mother had been unable to communicate with her daughter despite repeated attempts and had become deeply concerned about her condition.
The claims have added another chapter to the often-public life of Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, who has over the years remained one of the most controversial public figures. The former HIV/AIDS ambassador has frequently made headlines over personal revelations, public disputes, and allegations surrounding her health and personal life.
During the live discussion, Adepah further alleged that Joyce’s mother and her 19-year-old child currently reside in Germany and depend on Joyce for accommodation expenses.
According to the account shared, Joyce had reportedly been responsible for paying their rent, but after losing contact with her for an extended period, her mother began searching for ways to locate her.
The search reportedly led to the involvement of a man identified as Nana Sarfo, who was allegedly asked to visit Joyce’s residence in Hamburg to check on her welfare. According to the claims made during the livestream, Nana Sarfo travelled to the apartment and repeatedly knocked on the door but received no response.
The situation reportedly escalated to the point where local authorities were contacted to conduct a welfare check at the residence.
According to the account, police officers arrived at the property and attempted to establish contact with the socialite.
Adepah claimed that after several attempts, Joyce eventually opened the door and informed those present that she preferred to be left alone and did not wish to receive visitors or engage with anyone at the time.
The alleged encounter has since fueled speculation among members of the Ghanaian community in Germany, many of whom continue to question her well-being and current circumstances.
As of the time of reporting, however, the claims remain unverified. Neither Joyce Dzidzor Mensah nor any official representative has publicly commented on the allegations. Her family has also not issued any formal statement confirming the reports or providing an update on her condition.
The latest concerns come only a few months after Joyce resurfaced on social media following another prolonged absence that had sparked similar fears among her followers.
In March 2026, the former HIV/AIDS ambassador returned to social media and made startling claims that she had been abducted in Togo.
According to her account at the time, she had been taken there by an uncle under the pretext of undergoing spiritual cleansing.
Joyce alleged that she was subsequently held against her will under difficult conditions for several weeks before eventually escaping with the assistance of strangers.
Her claims generated widespread debate across social media, although they were never independently verified by authorities.
Over the years, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has remained a prominent and often controversial figure in Ghanaian public discourse.
She first gained national attention as an HIV/AIDS ambassador before later admitting that some aspects of her public HIV status campaign were staged, a revelation that generated significant public backlash.
Despite numerous controversies, she has maintained a loyal following online and continues to attract public attention whenever concerns arise about her personal welfare.
With no official statement yet released and no confirmed information regarding her current situation, uncertainty continues to surround Joyce Dzidzor Mensah’s whereabouts.
Family members, supporters and members of the Ghanaian community both at home and abroad are hoping she will eventually break her silence and reassure the public about her condition.
