The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, also known as Nana B, has expressed outrage over the National Intelligence Bureau’s (NIB) invitation to Chairman Abronye, questioning the motives behind the move.
According to Nana B, the NIB’s actions are a clear case of selective justice, as the same institution failed to take action against individuals who made false allegations against President Akufo-Addo.
Nana B pointed out that despite numerous false corruption accusations leveled against President Akufo-Addo by members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the NIB did not take any action or make any arrests.
He listed several instances where NDC members made scathing attacks on President Akufo-Addo, including claims of corruption, nepotism, and theft. However, in each of these cases, the NIB remained silent.
In contrast, Chairman Abronye’s legitimate questioning of President Mahama’s allocation of GHC550 million budgeted for newly recruited personnel has earned him an invitation from the NIB.
Nana B questioned the rationale behind the NIB’s actions, asking why Abronye should be singled out for scrutiny while those who made false allegations against President Akufo-Addo were left untouched.
Nana B also revealed that President Mahama and his enablers plan to use the NIB to arrest several former appointees of the NPP administration this week.
He described the move as a clear case of political intimidation and harassment.
The NPP National Organizer emphasized that the party will not stand idly while its members are subjected to selective justice.
He announced that the Elephant Soldiers, led by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, will accompany Chairman Abronye to the NIB.

The National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) formerly known as the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) did not take any action or make any arrests or even extend any invitation to anyone regarding these false allegations and attacks made by some NDC members targeted at President Akufo-Addo
However, when Chairman Abronye questioned President Mahama about the allocation of 550 million cedis budgeted for newly recruited personnel, especially in light of his mass dismissal and termination of their employment, he’s been summoned by the NIB.
If no one was summoned or arrested for making false allegations against former President Nana Addo while he was in office, why should Chairman Abronye be invited for legitimately questioning the allocation of budgeted funds for personnel who have been dismissed by President Mahama?
The NIB should expect the Elephant Soldiers, led by our General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, to accompany Chairman Abronye.
This week, President Mahama and his enablers plan to use the NIB to arrest several former appointees of the NPP administration.
