Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee for allegedly threatening and assaulting match officials during their Matchday 12 clash with Medeama SC.

The incident occurred at the Baba Yara Stadium, where the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

The GFA statement cited the club’s failure to protect match officials, allowing unauthorized individuals into Zone 2 during halftime, where they reportedly faced threats and attacks.

This is a violation of the 2025 Enhanced Matchday Protocols.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been given until Wednesday, December 3, to submit their response to the charges.

The Disciplinary Committee will review the club’s response before making a decision on the matter.
