A devastating accident involving the only functional ambulance in Ho West, Dzolokpuita, has left the community in a state of panic and desperation.
The ambulance, which was conveying a patient to a hospital in the Eastern Region, was involved in a gory accident, highlighting the urgent need for a replacement.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred on a stretch of road notorious for its poor condition and high incidence of accidents.
The ambulance, which was the only functional one in the area, was severely damaged, rendering it inoperable.
The patient on board, as well as the medical personnel, were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Ho West community is now crying out for a replacement, citing the dire need for emergency medical services in the area.
