Coach K Basketball For Kids’ Kicks Off In Western Region

The “Coach K Basketball for Kids” program has been launched in the Western Region of Ghana, with the aim of promoting teamwork, discipline, and the love of basketball among young athletes.

The program is designed for kids aged 8-14 and will feature hands-on coaching and interactive sessions.

As part of the program, Physical Education Coordinators from the Tarkwa Nsuaem and Prestea Huni-Valley Municipalities are currently undergoing a five-day training session.

The training, which will end on Friday, August 22, 2025, emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

The “Coach K Basketball for Kids” program is an initiative aimed at fostering the next generation of basketball talents in Ghana.

The program will feature clinics and interactive sessions, where young players will have the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches and interact with local basketball stars.

Call For Stakeholder Support

The program’s success relies on stakeholder support, and the organizers are counting on the community to help sustain the initiative. By promoting basketball and instilling important life lessons through the sport, the program aims to raise the next generation of basketball stars in the world.
