GJA Membership ID Cards Ready This Week

BY Daniel Bampoe

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has announced that its membership ID card production is set to commence this week.

After months of negotiations, Margins Group, a Ghanaian company specialising in secure identity solutions, card manufacturing, and digitalization services, has agreed to print the ID cards for GJA members.

KGL Group has sponsored the production of the membership ID cards.

Members are requested to send a soft copy (jpg) of their passport-size picture taken on a white background to gia.passportphoto@gmail.com.

The picture must be of good quality, and selfies are not acceptable.

Members are also required to provide detailed information, including their name, organization, region, and contact information.

The printing, issuing, and delivering of the membership ID cards will be done according to the order of receipt of the passport pictures.

Prioritization of Members

The exercise will begin with the list of members in good standing as published in the national dailies recently.

This means that members who have paid their dues and are in good standing will be prioritized in the production and issuance of the ID cards.

GJA’s Efforts to Deliver ID Cards

The GJA has been working to deliver ID cards to its members for over 10 years.
The current administration, led by Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, promised to address this challenge and deliver ID cards to members three years ago.
