The 2026 FIFA World Cup final was not only a clash between two football giants but also one of the biggest celebrity gatherings in recent sporting history, with Hollywood stars, music icons, business moguls and football legends filling the stands of the New York/New Jersey Stadium to witness Spain’s historic triumph over Argentina.
The sold-out stadium became a showcase of global entertainment and sporting excellence as thousands of fans were joined by an impressive list of internationally renowned personalities eager to witness the climax of the first-ever 48-team FIFA World Cup.
Among the high-profile guests were music power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé, alongside Hollywood actress Jessica Alba and actor Danny Ramirez. British singer Robbie Williams attended with his wife Ayda Field, while Oscar-winning Spanish actor Javier Bardem was also present to support his country’s quest for a second World Cup title.
Actress Anya Taylor-Joy arrived with her husband Malcolm McRae, while football icon David Beckham was joined by his wife Victoria Beckham and their son Cruz Beckham.
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise was also spotted in the VIP section alongside Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnbull.
The star-studded audience also featured pop legend Madonna, Brazilian football greats Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, French football icon Zinedine Zidane, Mexican music sensation Peso Pluma, actor Timothée Chalamet, reality television star Kylie Jenner and Marc Chalamet.
Political and business figures were equally represented, with members of the Trump family, including Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, Tiffany Trump, Michael Boulos, Bettina Anderson, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Lara Trump, all attending football’s biggest spectacle.
Their presence added further glamour to a final that captured worldwide attention as Spain defeated defending champions Argentina 1-0 after extra time, with Ferran Torres scoring the decisive goal to hand La Roja their second FIFA World Cup title.
The celebrity-filled atmosphere reflected the global appeal of the expanded 2026 FIFA World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, as football once again united stars from the worlds of entertainment, politics, business and sport for the game’s biggest occasion.
