Accra Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has been named the Ghana Premier League Goalkeeper of the Month for September, following an outstanding run of performances.
Benjamin Asare kept three clean sheets in three matches during the month, helping Hearts of Oak secure two wins and a draw.

Benjamin Asare’s impressive form has been instrumental in Hearts of Oak’s solid start to the campaign.
He has been in superb form, showcasing his exceptional reflexes, command of the area, and leadership skills.
His performances have earned him recognition beyond the domestic scene, with Black Stars coach Otto Addo identifying him as the first-choice goalkeeper

Benjamin Asare’s impressive form with Hearts of Oak has translated to his performances with the Black Stars.
He kept two clean sheets in the World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure.

Benjamin Asare beat strong competition from Abdul Ganiu of Karela United, Lawrence Osei of Heart of Lions, and Kwame Aziz of Vision FC to claim the award.
As part of the prize, Asare will receive a package from the Ex-Goalkeepers Union, including gloves, a branded towel, water bottles, and a T-shirt.
