Actor and Comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lil Win, has broken his silence on viral claims suggesting he conducted a DNA test that revealed one of his children was not biologically his, clarifying that the narrative was part of a calculated promotional campaign for his upcoming film titled DNA.
The clarification follows days of intense public debate triggered by a TikTok live session in which the Kumawood star appeared to suggest that a child he had raised for years was not his. The video quickly gained traction across social media platforms, sparking widespread speculation about his family life and marriage.
However, in an official statement issued on March 15, 2026, by his management team, Wezzyempire, the actor firmly denied that the claims reflected any real-life situation.
According to the statement, the viral narrative was “completely not a reflection of a true and real incident” but rather a deliberate showbiz strategy aimed at promoting his latest movie project.
The management explained that the ongoing discussions about DNA tests were directly tied to the storyline of the film and had no connection to the actor’s personal life.
They emphasised that Lil Win remains happily married and continues to focus on his career and upcoming production.
“The ongoing conversation regarding DNA is purely a storyline from the movie and has absolutely no reflection on Lilwin’s personal life,” portions of the statement noted.
The clarification comes after the initial remarks generated shock among fans and followers, with many social media users debating the authenticity of the claims and expressing concern over the actor’s family.
Management has therefore urged the public to disregard what it described as misinterpretations of the viral video, stressing that the comments were taken out of context and should not be treated as factual disclosures about the actor’s private life.
They further encouraged audiences to watch the upcoming movie upon its release on Wezzyempire TV on YouTube to fully understand the context behind the storyline that sparked the controversy.
