Jenae, who had built a strong social media presence with more than 71,000 Instagram followers, travelled to Tanzania with her fiancé, Joe McCann.

However, the narrative took a tragic turn when Jenae was discovered dead in her hotel room. McCann reportedly informed close associates that she had taken her own life, claiming she had “hanged herself.”
