Ghanaian dancehall superstar Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., popularly known as Shatta Wale, has received one of the most expensive gifts of his career after renowned oil and gas entrepreneur and philanthropist Kofi Amoa-Abban, Chief Executive Officer of Rigworld Group, presented him with a luxury black Ferrari from his private collection.
The surprise presentation, which has dominated social media discussions, saw the award-winning musician overcome with emotion as he bowed before the business magnate in appreciation of what many have described as one of the most generous gifts ever presented to a Ghanaian artiste by a private businessman.
The Ferrari is a perfect replacement of the musician’s Lamborghini urus seized by EOCO.
Videos circulating online captured the emotional moment when Shatta Wale visited Kofi Amoa-Abban’s private luxury garage, where the billionaire unveiled the high-performance Ferrari before officially handing over the keys to the dancehall icon.
Overwhelmed by the unexpected gesture, Shatta Wale knelt and bowed before Amoa-Abban in appreciation as those present applauded the touching moment.
The video has since gone viral, attracting thousands of reactions from fans across Ghana and beyond.
According to Kofi Amoa-Abban, the gift was in recognition of Shatta Wale’s immense contribution to Ghana’s music industry and his growing influence in promoting African music on the global stage.
The businessman also used the occasion to publicly endorse ShattaFest UK, the musician’s upcoming concert in London, expressing confidence that the event would further project Ghanaian music onto the international stage.
The Ferrari was selected from Amoa-Abban’s impressive fleet of luxury vehicles, a collection that reflects the businessman’s success in the oil and gas industry through the Rigworld Group, one of the leading indigenous oil services companies.
