A prophecy made months ago by Ghanaian preacher Apostle Francis Amoako Attah has resurfaced on social media following the resignation announcement of United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, reigniting discussions about prophetic declarations and their place in public discourse
The development comes after Sir Keir Starmer announced on June 22, 2026, that he would step down as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom after nearly two years in office.
Addressing the British public from 10 Downing Street, Starmer confirmed that he would continue serving in a caretaker capacity until the governing Labour Party elects a new leader.
His resignation marks a dramatic turn in British politics, coming less than two years after he led Labour to a historic landslide victory in the July 2024 general election, ending more than a decade of Conservative Party rule.

In recent months, however, Starmer’s administration faced mounting political pressure amid declining approval ratings, growing economic concerns and electoral setbacks that weakened the party’s standing among voters.
The resurgence of opposition parties, particularly Reform UK, further intensified calls for leadership changes within political circles.
Following the announcement, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, founder and leader of Lord’s Parliament Chapel, shared a video of a sermon he delivered in January 2026 in which he predicted a leadership change in the United Kingdom before the end of the year.
In the resurfaced sermon, the preacher stated that Britain would experience significant hardship and political turbulence that would ultimately result in the departure of its prime minister from office.
According to the preacher, the United Kingdom was heading toward a period of intense challenges that would force a change in national leadership.
“The UK would have new leadership before the end of the year. There is going to be immense hardship to the point that their Prime Minister would be sacked.
The UK Prime Minister is going to resign and someone will take over,” he declared during the sermon.
After news of Starmer’s resignation broke, Apostle Amoako Attah pointed to the earlier prophecy as evidence of what he described as the manifestation of a divine revelation.
Sharing the video online, he noted that he had repeatedly spoken about the possibility of the British leader leaving office and argued that the recent events reflected the fulfilment of that prediction.
The development quickly attracted widespread attention across social media, with many followers of the preacher praising him for what they viewed as an accurate prophecy. Supporters described him as a “seer” and commended his ability to foresee major international developments.
Others, however, approached the claim with caution, arguing that political predictions often become subjects of interpretation after events have occurred.
Some observers noted that political instability and declining public support had already become major issues facing the Starmer administration in recent months.
Amoako Attah is no stranger to high-profile prophecies. Over the years, the preacher has gained public attention for making predictions relating to politics, governance, international affairs and global leaders.
His followers frequently cite previous prophecies they believe have materialised, while critics continue to debate the accuracy and interpretation of such declarations.
