Nii Odartey Lamptey has stepped down as the head coach of Eleven Wonders following a winless run in the Ghana Premier League.
The former Ghana international took charge of the team at the start of the season but was unable to lead them to victory in their last seven league outings.
Under Lamptey’s leadership, Eleven Wonders recorded five defeats and two draws, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat to Nations FC.
The team currently sits 17th on the table with just two points, and the winless run has put immense pressure on the coaching staff.
The club is yet to officially confirm Lamptey’s exit or announce plans for his replacement ahead of their next fixture against second-placed Aduana FC.
The search for a new coach will be crucial for Eleven Wonders, who will be looking to turn their season around and avoid relegation.
Lamptey’s tenure as Eleven Wonders coach may have been short-lived, but his experience and expertise will be hard to replace.
The club will need to find a suitable replacement to inject new energy and ideas into the team and guide them to success.
