Ghanaian Trio Shine Abroad As Ibrahim, Sharani And Ofori Celebrate League Glory In Europe

Three Ghanaian footballers; Rahim Ibrahim, Zuberu Sharani, and Kelvin Ofori have capped impressive campaigns in Europe with league success, underlining the continued rise and influence of Ghanaian talent across the continent’s domestic competitions.

Midfielder Rahim Ibrahim played a pivotal role in helping SK Slovan Bratislava secure the Slovak Nike Liga title, sealing the championship with two matches to spare following a narrow 1–0 victory over DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda.

The 24-year-old featured prominently in the decisive encounter before being substituted in the 55th minute.

His replacement, Zuberu Sharani — a former Dreams FC player — also shared in the title triumph, adding to his growing European experience. Sharani, who has recently switched international allegiance to Togo, continues to make strides in his professional career, contributing to Slovan’s dominance in Slovak football.

Ibrahim’s Consistency Key To Title Run

Over the course of the season, Ibrahim established himself as an important figure in Slovan Bratislava’s midfield, making 26 appearances, scoring two goals, and providing one assist. His performances were instrumental in maintaining the club’s consistency and securing yet another league title.

Ofori Makes Impact In Slovenia

Elsewhere, Kelvin Ofori also enjoyed a memorable moment in Slovenia, scoring in NK Olimpija Ljubljana’s emphatic 3–0 victory over NK Primorje in the Slovenian Prva Liga. The goal marked his first for the club since joining on loan from Slovan Bratislava in January.

Prior to his move, Ofori had made 14 appearances and scored two goals for Slovan, contributing to their title-winning campaign before continuing his development in Slovenia. His impact at Olimpija Ljubljana adds another layer to what has been a successful season for the young midfielder.
