Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri and Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, on Saturday, 25th October, 2025 marked his birthday in a characteristically humble way — by giving back to his community.
Instead of hosting a party or grand celebration, the MP, through his loyal support group, the Friends of Annoh-Dompreh (FAD), donated vital medical equipment and financial support to the Nsawam Government Hospital, particularly its Maternity Unit.
The gesture saw the FAD team presenting health equipment and cash envelopes worth GHS 30,000 to 100 nursing mothers at the hospital.
Although the MP was out of town, his team led the presentation on his behalf, continuing his tradition of community-centered celebrations.

Before the donation, the FAD group embarked on a health walk from Nsawam Mobile Junction to the hospital — an activity symbolizing wellness and community spirit.
The walk drew several constituents who joined to show appreciation for the MP’s consistent efforts to improve lives in the area.
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Jenette Nyaning Kessie, a Senior Midwife and Second-in-Charge at the Maternity Unit, expressed profound gratitude to Annoh-Dompreh for his continuous support over the years.
She noted that the MP has remained one of the hospital’s most reliable benefactors, often stepping in to assist with resources and emergency needs.

However, she highlighted a growing challenge at the facility — severe congestion at the maternity ward, where pregnant women often struggle to find beds.
Kessie took the opportunity to appeal to the government to help complete the new Maternity Block, a project initiated by Annoh-Dompreh that currently stands at about 70% completion.
She stressed that once completed, the block would significantly ease pressure on the existing ward and improve healthcare delivery for mothers and babies.
The Nsawam Government Hospital serves not only residents of Nsawam-Adoagyiri but also nearby communities in the Eastern Region, making it one of the busiest public hospitals in the area.
Over the years, Annoh-Dompreh has supported the hospital with renovations, medical supplies, and financial aid, reinforcing his commitment to improving healthcare and community welfare.
His annual birthday donations have become a hallmark of his leadership, reflecting a personal philosophy that public service extends beyond politics.
Through this year’s act of generosity, the Nsawam-Adoagyiri legislator once again turned his birthday into a day of impact — using the occasion to shine a light on the needs of his constituents and to inspire a spirit of service and compassion.
